The room was a decent size, with a clean bathroom featuring a separate shower and bathtub. the view of the lake was exceptional. the location was amazing and fabulous, with easy access to the bridge and perfect for exploring Wakefield. Close to the park and grounds, the hotel is situated on an island in the middle of a lake, accessible by a footbridge, and adjacent to a golf course.

We liked every thing about the hotel. The staff were really friendly, helpful, pleasant and efficient, from check in to check out. The booking was a surprise gift for us, everything was seemless. We attended a Wedding, everything was so well organised. It was a beautiful setting.

The hotel is located close to the old Manor House, an island, and Yorkshire Sculpture Park in West Bretton. I enjoyed the continental breakfast, especially the sausage.- It was great value for money, considering it's primarily used as a wedding venue.
